Father Son & Buddies was started in 2004 by Jack and Justin Richardson, it over the years has grown to a group of over 100 people who have similar interests and now is registered as a nonprofit.  The group currently holds five functions a year including a Fishing Tournament in Mexico, a Kids Fishing Derby, a Sporting Clay Shootout, a Golf Weekend and a Membership Game Feed.  As the group has grown it has been able to give back to the community and sponsors including annually bringing a group of 15 underprivileged children from the 49er Foundation to our Kids Fishing Derby, sponsoring two individuals to our Fishing Tournament in Mexico who tragically lost their farther last year to a sudden illness, and an annual clothes drive at The Fishing Tournament in Mexico for the local people in La Ribera.  We are also currently trying to raise enough money to buy new beds at an orphanage in the town.

In 2011 we set a record with 36 fishermen for the annual Punta Colorado fishing trip. Check out the pictures and a report under Punta Colorado in 2012 we will take a group of 40.
